Nathaniel Paul’s capsule, FW 2014 collection is a tribute to the struggle and strength of the modern woman, and the feminine elegance she embodies. The collection personifies protective gears of women warriors featuring structured fabrics in soft and elegant silhouettes. "I like repurposing materials so I find myself gravitating towards vintage or simple discontinued fabrics. The theory behind my designs is to use fabrics in an untraditional manner, bending the rules a bit and creating interesting silhouettes that enhance the femininity of a woman", says the designer.
The color theme for the collection is clay, loden, black, metallic and champagne in fabrics such as cashmere, lambskin and chantilly-lace accented with laser cut ostrich feathers. Pleated and geometric pattern jackets, abstract silk brocade pencil skirt, and a envelope folded coat dress are among the collection's defining looks.
