OOTN: Uptown Geisha Glam

Have you ever found yourself with a complete change of plans? I originally set out to enjoy a good wholesome evening of bowling with film producer and friend, Ty Walker, but somehow (his fault), we found ourselves at the newly opened H&M Times Square, the brand's newest flagship store!

H&M Times Square, New York City...

H&M Times Square, New York City...

I must say, the store is absolutely gorgeous on the outside. We were completely drawn in by the neon flashing lights with the Tokyo flair. Like most New York City H&M stores, the store was PACKED with merchandise, and not necessarily in a good way. It was a bit difficult to foster an adequate flow of shopping when clothes are everywhere. Additionally, I spied only two cash wraps (check out areas) and two fitting rooms. However, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Special shopper's note: The store is open until 1am daily. Puts a whole new meaning to "Shop til you drop".

On the second floor, they housed more of their "designer" looks, less basics. I was immediately drawn to the asian inspired overcoat, and believed the $130 price tag (side-eye H&M) was worth it for this statement piece. I purchased the coat in a size 6, all they had left, although I typically wear a size 8 or 10.

I paired with coat with H&M denim jeans, also purchased that day, a grey long sleeve cotton shirt, Lauren Marinis leopard Gilda pumps and an oatmeal colored infinity knit scarf I purchased in Soho. All of the jewelry I'm wearing is from my online boutique, Shop Smitten

FYI...We never made it to bowling...smh. PR girl problems... #besos!
