I've been bitten by the luxury shoe bug! My closet loves every minute of it...My bank account... Not so much.
Last year I searched far and wide for the So Kate nude pump. When I say far and wide, I mean far and wide. I called every Louboutin boutique, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue from here (NYC) to LA, and everywhere in between (Birmingham, Dallas, Phoenix, etc). No dice! One year later, I visited the Louboutin boutique in Atlanta Buckhead and no surprise, NO So Kate. BUT, they did have the Pigalle (same price) in nude which I instantly fell in love with and consequently fits my foot better.
Two weeks later, I purchased these beauties. The Degraspike White 120mm from Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. These shoes are to die for.
The fit is a cross between a So Kate and a Pigalle, with a gorgeous silhouette. Surprisingly, they are the most comfortable Louboutin i've tried on. What's even more surprising is the shoe fits true to size unlike most Louboutins. My normal shoe size is a 6 1/2 or 7 depending on the brand. My pigalle is a size 7 1/2 (37.5) and my Degraspike are a 7 (37). Go figure. As a note, I suggest you trying on a pair in person before online shopping.
I purchased the shoe on a Friday, so naturally I wore them to church the next day.
Zara turtleneck, H&M shirt, Chanel Bag. Forver 21 sunnies and Viva Luxe hair.
What should my next pair be?
